Mac Users
If you are a Mac User we highly suggest you record a video on your desktop and then upload the file into the Vipe system. Mac software does not allow you to reliably record videos directly on the Vipe system. Mac users have noticed that sometimes the sound will record, sometimes it won't and sometimes the sound will cut out in the middle of the video.
There are two options for recording video, depending on the Mac you have.
Option 1
If you have a Mac that runs on Leopard (if you purchased your computer in the past year or so this is most likely what you have) then the easiest way to create a video is using Photobooth. Here are the few simple steps it will take:
Go back to Vipe
Option 2
The other simple solution to record the video is using your built in webcam using iMovie and then easily upload the file into the Vipe system.
Instructions for how to use your Mac to record a video in iMovie and then upload it to Vipe are below:
Go back to Vipe
That's it! You can now have high quality webcam videos in the Vipe system if you are using a Mac.
